Southern University College proudly launched its Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Safeguarding Centre on August 7th, officiating the “Festivals in Motion: Global Perspectives on Chingay and Street Parade Cultures” International Conference held on August 8th!
Bringing together over 30 local and international scholars and heritage experts, the ceremony featured addresses by SUC Chairman Dato’ Vincent Tan and President Prof. Leong Liew Kwong. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between SUC’s Faculty of Chinese Studies and EdUHK’s Faculty of Humanities, marking a milestone in cross-regional academic collaboration and cultural preservation.
