Students from the Diploma in Logistics Management, Faculty of Business and Management, under the guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Renugala Shollunayagam, recently participated in a series of industrial warehouse visits as part of their course assessment. These visits provided valuable first-hand exposure to real-world warehouse operations and enabled students to apply classroom knowledge in practical industry settings.
The visits to Join Sea Sdn. Bhd., DJ Home Living Sdn. Bhd., and Lim Food Cold Storage Sdn. Bhd. provided logistics students with practical insights into key logistics functions, including inventory management, warehouse layout, material handling equipment (MHE), receiving and dispatch operations, order fulfilment, stock control, warehouse information technology, workplace safety practices and others.
By experiencing warehouse operations across different industries, students were able to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world practice. These experiential learning opportunities not only strengthened their understanding of warehousing and supply chain management but also enhanced their professional competencies, industry exposure, and career readiness for the dynamic logistics sector.
(Faculty of Business and Management)助理教授 Dr. Renugala Shollunayagam 的指导下,物流管理文凭课程(Diploma in Logistics Management)学生日前开展了一系列工业仓库参访活动,作为课程评估的一部分。
Bhd.、DJ Home Living Sdn. Bhd. 及 Lim Food Cold Storage Sdn.
