On 16 June 2025, the Management Department from Faculty of Business Management hosted a collaborative event with University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), aimed at enriching students’ understanding of Human Resource Management (HRM) through academic competition and industry engagement. A key highlight was the Poster Presentation Contest, where students from both universities presented their research on various HR topics, promoting academic excellence and cross-institutional collaboration.
The program continued with a sharing session by an HR Industry Expert, who provided insightful perspectives on the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in HRM, including its role in recruitment, performance evaluation, and workforce planning. This was followed by a student sharing session, where selected students delivered short talks on current and relevant HR topics, reflecting their understanding of real-world HR issues and how their studies prepare them to address future challenges.
The event concluded with an engaging HR Forum featuring industry representatives, who discussed current challenges and emerging trends in the HR field. Overall, the event successfully bridged academic learning with industry practice, strengthened ties between the two institutions, and provided students with valuable real-world exposure.
企业与管理学院辖下管理系,携手马来西亚敦胡先翁大学,于2025年6月16日举办了一场透过学术比赛和企业交流来加深学生对人力资源管理认知的盛大活动。活动中,最精彩的环节,莫过于两所高等学府学生们,根据各种人资相关议题而进行的海报演说比赛。此比赛的目的是为了提高学术表现及跨学府的合作关系。
当天的活动也涵盖了人资管理业界专才的分享会,为出席者提供了一些针对人工智能对人资管理影响的宝贵见解,其中包括使用人工智能在招聘,表现评估,及工作分配上扮演的角色。除此之外,大会也安排了指定学生,在分享会中发表他们对当今社会的人资管理的了解,和他们的所就读的课程如何能有效的协助他们备战未来的挑战。
该活动也以和业界代表一同参与的人资管理研讨会作为最后环节,讨论人资领域现今的趋势和挑战。总结,该活动成功将学习和真实企业作业联系上,并借此机会促进了两所学府间的关系,及开拓学生对真实企业操作的视野。
