The Department of Journalism and Communication Studies (DJC) warmly welcomed a group of students from Pei Hwa Independent High School for an educational visit and media workshop on 9 June 2026.
The workshop, titled “From Ideas to Screen,” was conducted by Ms. Lah Wan Yee, to introduce the fundamentals of television production and creative content development to the students. During the workshop, students learned about various types of television programmes, different camera shots and learned how these techniques help tell stories effectively.
Students also explored the use of storyboards to present and organize creative ideas before production. Through interactive activities and discussions, they gained valuable insights into the media production process.

此次工作坊主题为《从创意到荧幕》，由新闻与传播系主任林婉仪高级讲师主讲。课程旨在让学生认识电视节目制作与创意内容开发的基础知识。在工作坊中，学生学习了不同类型的电视节目，认识了常见的镜头运用技巧，并了解这些镜头如何协助传达讯息与呈现故事内容。
此外，学生也学习如何运用分镜图将创意构思视觉化，规划拍摄内容与流程。通过互动讨论与实践活动，学生对媒体制作过程有了更深入的了解。
