On 16th April 2026, the management of Southern University College welcomed a delegation from the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT). The purpose of this courtesy visit was to provide updates on the latest developments at MBOT and to explore potential collaboration opportunities between MBOT and Southern University College. Dr. Md Fauzi bin Md Ismail, Registrar of MBOT, delivered a presentation on the background, functions, and significance of MBOT to the audience. Meanwhile, Ts. Dr. Nor Aznan bin Mohd Nor, Director of the Technology and Technical Accreditation Secretariat (TTAS) of MBOT, provided a briefing on the process of obtaining programme accreditation from MBOT. Southern University College appreciates the information shared by the MBOT delegation and looks forward to closer collaboration in the future.
