The Faculty of Art & Design (FAD), Southern University College, is proud to announce that Lew Yu Xuan and How Qian Ru have been selected for the prestigious TIMB3R DIP 5.1 Incubator Programme 2026, organized by the Malaysian Timber Council (MTC).
This remarkable achievement reflects their creativity, innovation, and dedication to excellence in furniture design. Their success also highlights the quality of talent nurtured within FAD and the strong support provided by their mentor, Mr. Mohd Norhan Dulkahar, whose guidance played a key role in this accomplishment.
Adding to this achievement, their furniture designs have successfully secured a collaboration contract with a furniture industries, and both parties have officially signed a partnership agreement. This milestone demonstrates the commercial potential of their designs and marks an important step towards industry engagement and product development.

南方大学学院艺术与设计学院（FAD）欣然宣布，两位优秀学生 刘羽煊及 侯芊如凭借创新家具设计作品，成功入选由马来西亚木材理事会（MTC）主办的 TIMB3R DIP 5.1 Incubator Programme 2026。
这项殊荣充分展现了两位同学卓越的创意能力、设计实力与专业精神，同时也体现了 FAD 在培养设计人才方面的成果。
更令人振奋的是，两位同学的设计作品获得家具企业的青睐，成功取得产业合作机会，并已与合作公司正式签署合作协议书。这不仅是对其设计价值的肯定，也为作品迈向产业化发展奠定了重要基础。
