On 20th August, the Book Sharing Session: Experiencing Poetry through Concrete and Playful Approaches took place successfully in Room 125 at Southern University College. It was co-organized by the Malaysian Chinese Literature Centre, Southern UC Library and Faculty of Chinese Studies.
Southern University College Vice-President, Mr. Wong Yit Gee was the guest speaker. He shared his poem-writing process and introduced the themes and styles of each part of his poetry works, Heterogeneous Radiance (《异质流光》). The works focuses on everyday thoughts, self-talk, and human relationships using simple language. The event also included interactive activities, and the audience participated actively.
At the end of the event, Mr. Wong gave out cards with mixed-up words from two of his poems. He asked attendees to rearrange them into their own poems to experience the fun of creative writing. The event host, Ms. Chua Zhe Qian also encouraged everyone to write more poetry.
由南方大学学院马华文学馆、图书馆及中华语言文化学院联合主办的“具象玩诗——《异质流光》分享会”于8月20日在南方大学学院125会议室顺利举行。
本次分享会特别邀请南方大学学院副校长黄益启主讲。他首先分享了自己创作小诗的过程，随后按《异质流光》各辑顺序介绍每辑的主题与形式特点。该诗集聚焦现代日常生活中的片刻情思、自我对话与人际关系碎片，以极简语言串联生活经验。分享过程中穿插互动环节，与会者积极回应，现场反应热烈。
活动尾声，黄益启将书中两首小诗的字句顺序打乱，印制在卡片上分发给与会者，请他们会后自行重组为完整的诗作，体验诗歌创作的开放性。主持人蔡哲茜也鼓励与会者多进行诗歌创作。
