From September 17 to 24, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lim Juat Hong, Dean of the Faculty of Chinese Medicine led three Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Honours) students, Teng Sher Kwong, Hon Xue Jun, and Ong Yi Chiao to participate in “Acupuncture and Moxibustion in Guizhou ‒ The Third ASEAN Traditional Medicine Workshop for College Students” hosted by Guizhou University of Chinese Medicine, China.
The programme introduced students to Miao medicine through museum studies, diagnostic methods such as the “egg diagnosis,” and clinical practice in external therapies like cupping and fire moxibustion. They also joined cultural activities including herbal specimen making and visits to landmarks, deepening their appreciation of the Daoist concept of harmony between humanity and nature.
This experience broadened their medical perspectives and inspired them to contribute to the preservation, innovation, and international exchange of traditional medicine.
2025年9月17日至24日，中医药学院院长林悦鸿副教授带领三位中医学（荣誉）学士学生邓世广、韩学骏、王芋巧参加由中国贵州中医药大学主办的“针艾黔行——第三届东盟传统医药大学生研习营”。
研习内容涵盖苗医理论、诊法与外治实践，包括蛋诊、拨筋罐、火灸等，展现其“简、便、效、廉”的特色。学生亦体验草药标本制作，品尝中药奶茶，并参观黄果树瀑布和青岩古镇，感悟“天人合一”的医学哲学。
此次活动不仅拓展了学生对苗医与中医融合的认识，也激励他们在未来推动传统医药的传承与国际交流。
