The Faculty of Art and Design is pleased to share an academic milestone. Our students, Teh Wen Ying and Ling Wei Zhi, have successfully secured places in the competitive International Summer Program hosted by the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University. The project proposal was guided by faculty members, whose leadership enabled our students to demonstrate their capabilities on an international platform.
The two students will head to Beijing on June 29 for a two-week international summer academic program. All accommodation and activity expenses during the program will be fully covered by the host, Tsinghua University.
As the only institution in Malaysia invited to participate in this initiative, the Faculty of Art and Design remains committed to providing international learning platforms for our students. We express our gratitude to the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, for this valuable opportunity, and to our advisors for their dedication. We hope Wen Ying and Wei Zhi will make the most of this exchange to broaden their design perspectives.
【恭喜！设计系学生戴妏莹 & 凌𬀩智 闯关成功！即将代表南方大学学院飞往北京清华大学！】 南方大学学院艺术与设计学院日前收到清华大学美术学院的邀请，参与由该院主办的国际暑期项目。
在本次项目中，全球学生需通过组队提交设计项目计划书及视频进行竞争筛选。在我院赵佩娟院长及游亮辉高级讲师的指导下，团队计划书顺利通过评选。艺术与设计学院优秀学生戴妏莹与凌𬀩智也成功获得参与该项目的资格，他们将于 6 月 29 日启程前往北京清华大学，展开为期两周的学术与设计交流。在此期间，项目两周的住宿及活动费用将由清华大学全程赞助。
值得一提的是，南方大学学院艺术与设计学院是马来西亚本次唯一一所获邀并有学生入选的高校。这不仅是对师生团队专业能力的肯定，也为我院的国际交流学术活动增添了一抹亮色。祝愿两位同学在北京的学术交流中收获丰硕。在此，我院由衷感谢清华大学美术学院提供的宝贵学术交流平台。
